How to cook homemade croutons

If crackers are needed with the flavor of chicken, bacon ormushrooms, then they should be cooked with the addition of the appropriate seasoning or broth cubes. You can dry them both in the oven and in the microwave.

Crackers with seasoning

Ingredients:

  • 500 grams of bread;
  • 2-3 pinch of salt;
  • 1 cube seasoning "Maggi";
  • 1-2 pinches of dry spices (oregano, Italian herbs or basil).

Preparation:

  1. You can cook bread crumbs from bread, which is already a little dried up - it is better cut and not crumbled. We cut the bread into small cubes and put it on a baking tray.
  2. Cube "Maggi" is dissolved in a small amount of water and sprinkle her bread.
  3. Salt and sprinkle with spices to taste. Mix well.
  4. We set to dry in a microwave oven for 3-4minutes (power 800 W). When the oven turns off, mix the crackers, set the timer again for a couple of minutes and turn on the microwave. We repeat until readiness.

How to cook crumbs with garlic

Sugars with seasoning are good as a snack, and soups and salads are best made with garlic.

Ingredients:

  • 500 grams of rye or wheat bread;
  • 4 tablespoons vegetable oil;
  • 3 cloves garlic.

Preparation:

  1. Cut the bread into large cubes.
  2. In a bowl, mix 2 tablespoons oil and crushed garlic.
  3. In a bowl, add bread, pour it on top with 2 tablespoons of oil and gently mix everything with your hands. More oil should not be added, since then biscuits will come out too fat.
  4. The pan is covered with baking paper and put on it bread cubes.
  5. If you need to cook crackers in the oven, thenwarm it up preferably in advance (about 250 degrees). First they should be well fried for five minutes at 250 degrees. Then the oven is turned off, but the door is left closed until the oven cools. This is done so that the crackers are baked on top and well dried from the inside.
