What to cook with shrimp?
Many shrimp liked because of their taste, nutritional value and low calorie. From shrimps you can cook a variety of dishes: soups, salads, sandwich filling, hot second courses.
Let us consider in more detail what can be prepared from them.
Salad with shrimps and cherry
Shrimp are an excellent base for salads. Salads with prawns can be filled with soy, and mayonnaise sauces, as well as lemon juice, vegetable oils, for example, a good quality olive oil. Especially good are shrimps with garlic sauce.
Ingredients
- 300 grams of shrimp;
- 400 grams of cherry;
- Packing of lettuce leaves;
- 50 grams of arugula;
- Apples;
- Sesame;
- Olive oil;
- Salt;
- Pepper;
- Juice of half a lemon.
Preparation
- Pour the prawns, if they are frozen, with hot water for 5 minutes, drain the water. If they are in a shell, clean it.
- Cut the cherry into 4 pieces, chop the apples finely, tear the salad leaves and place it in the salad bowl together with the arugula.
- Add the prawns, lemon juice, salt, pepper, butter, sesame in a salad bowl to the rest of the ingredients, mix.
This dish is well combined with red wine and green tea.
Cream-soup from shrimps
In such a soup, you can put any ingredients that, in your opinion, fit well with shrimp and broth from them.
Ingredients
- 500 grams of peeled shrimp;
- 100 grams of cream or mushroom cheese;
- 400 grams of champignons;
- 1 onion;
- Pepper;
- Salt.
Preparation
- Boil the shrimp for 10 minutes with a whole bulb. Extract the shrimp, remove the bulb from the broth.
- Put out the champignons until done.
- Put prawns, mushrooms, pepper and salt in a bowl of the blender, pour 300 ml of broth and chop.
- Pour the resulting mixture into a saucepan, add the cheese and cook over a low heat for 15 minutes.
This dish before serving can be decorated with parsley and sesame or add crumbs of white bread.
