How to connect the amplifier correctly?

Connecting an external amplifier to a radio or subwoofer requires certain skills. We will look at how to properly connect the amplifier.

Connecting the amplifier

The general connection scheme assumes that the branch of the red wire goes through the fuse and capacitor to the amplifier. The order of wiring is as follows:

  1. The wire that connects to the positivepole of the amplifier (plus), should go from the battery inside the interior so that it does not touch any details. It is worth protecting it by passing through the tubing.
  2. The plus wire should not be longer than 30 centimeters.
  3. The wire that will be connected to the negative terminal (negative) must be fixed to any bolt.
  4. The signal cable from the radio is to be connected to the amplifier's jack of the corresponding connector.
  5. The acoustic cable is connected from the amplifier to a subwoofer or to a radio tape recorder.

If during the playback of music you hearnoise, then you need to check the cables. They should not be at right angles to each other. Also you can use noise suppressors, which you can buy in any autoshop. At the same time, it should be remembered that for amplification (that is, normalizing the transmission of the sound signal) amplifiers require about six hours, and the speakers about three days.

During the first power-up of the amplifier, put regulators at the bottom. If you turn the volume to maximum, then it can cause overheating. If your amplifier has a bass boost function, you should disable it, as it will distort the sound.

The subwoofer is recommended to be installed in front so that it produces the best sound effect. If you want to install a subwoofer from the rear, be aware that this can appeal to passengers.

Professionals recommend buying amplifiers of expensive brands, since cheap models can not give the proper effect.
