How to assemble a dragon?

Three-dimensional figures in origami technique attract andchildren, and adults. The beauty of products, the availability of materials and the relative ease of assembly make the art of origami interesting and loved by many people. In this article, we'll figure out how to assemble a dragon in origami technique.

Principle of assembly

In the network, you can find many different schemesdegree of complexity. Let us dwell on not very complicated. We will collect the figurine from the so-called modules. Modules are most often triangular blanks made of thick paper (sometimes creped). If you want the figure to be stable, it's best that the paper is tight enough.

The triangle is obtained by foldingrectangle according to a certain scheme (first bend in half along the long side, then bend the halves to the center, and then bend the remaining tips, bend the resulting module in half).

The sizes can be different. Usually the aspect ratio of the workpiece for the module is 1: 1.5.

Materials

In order to collect a simple dragon, you will need:

  • 106 modules of any color at your discretion;
  • PVA glue;
  • free time (approximately 2 hours);
  • eyes (you can buy ready-made for soft toys or make yourself of thick paper, felt, etc.);
  • flower to decorate the head of the dragon.

The resulting modules are inserted into each other (in the pockets of one module we insert the corners of the other two). First we make the body, then add the head and wings to it.

Look at the detailed video page, in which the process of manufacturing the dragon is sorted out step by step.

We wish you an easy assembly and a beautiful result in the end!
