How to make a crossbow from pencils

Crossbow is an improved model of the bow. You can make a crossbow yourself with simple pencils.

How to make a crossbow of pencils: instruction

Here's what you need to do:

1. Take the usual pencils with facets and without sharpening. We need 4 pieces.
2. Take a good tight band (4 pcs.) And combine the pencils in pairs. The elastic band should wrap them on each side.
3. Now put the pencils perpendicular to each other (a kind of cross is formed - the main element of the design of the future crossbow). Place the joints to be wrapped and secured with an elastic band.
4. Take the usual ballpoint pen and disassemble it. It will need a rod and a frame.
5. An empty frame must be glued to the long part of the crossbow. In the future, the frame will become a barrel for the arrow.
6. Now you need to make a string. For this, we will also need two bands. To adjust the bowstring, you need to insert both rubber bands between the pencils that protrude the shoulders of the crossbow (tensioner). The arms of the crossbow are pencils that are positioned horizontally with respect to the arrow.
7. The loose ends of the elastic band must be joined together by a thin rope or string. The main thing is that the connecting element should be strong.

As a projectile can use any long objects that will climb through the frame from the handle, for example, the rod of the same handle.
