Before preparing canned fish in tomato, you need to stock up the following ingredients:

  • tomatoes - 3 pieces;

  • fish - 1.6 kg;
  • salt and pepper - to taste.

The cooking process consists of the following stages:

  1. Take the fish, scrape off the scales, wash and remove the giblets from it. Cut it into small portions, then sprinkle with salt and pepper. Leave all this for 1.5 hours in a container.
  2. Cut the onions and tomatoes into small pieces. Transfer them to the fish, and then put the container on the burner, bring to a boil, add ketchup and simmer for 3-4 hours over low heat. If you have a multivarker, then you can cook fish in it. Put it with vegetables in the container of this device, set the "Quenching" mode for 4.5 hours and wait for the alert signal to be ready.
  3. Take the sterile jars and spread the fish in tomato sauce over them. Then roll it with lids and leave it in a cool place.

How to cook homemade canned fish with butter

To make canned food according to this recipe, you need the following ingredients:

  • fish - 2 kg;
  • salt - to taste;
  • pepper peas - 6 pcs .;
  • vegetable oil - 20 ml.

Prepared canned fish with oil in this way:

  1. Take the fish, clean it thoroughly from the scales, wash under running water and pull out all the giblets from it. Then cut it into small pieces and salt them with salt.
  2. Take the fire-resistant dishes and put the fish into it. Cover everything with foil and send it to the oven, heated to 150 degrees. When the fish starts to give the juice, reduce the temperature to 100 degrees, and then leave it to languish for 5 hours.
