Fold the gauze in several layers. It should turn out in size with the auricle. Make a slot in it so that the auricle can pass through it. Saturate gauze with alcohol, which you mixed with water. Lightly squeeze and spread it behind the auricle, passing the ear into the hole. This part of the compress should fit very tightly to the skin. Next, take the polyethylene and make it the same slot as you did on the gauze. Arrange it so that the auricle is open, and the polyethylene completely covers the already imposed gauze. Now put on top of the ear (on the auricle too) a layer of cotton wool. Fix it with a bandage or a scarf. Compress is ready! It is put, as a rule, for two or four hours.
