Hippology is a scientific discipline. This word is formed in Russian from the ancient Greek roots: ἵππος "horse" and λόγος "word". What does hippology study? What is the subject of her research?
Hippology studies:
- Anatomy, the physiology of horses. Scientists systematize the material about the features of the anatomical and physiological structure of horses of various breeds, identify those rocks that are most applicable in various spheres of human life: in agricultural work, for fun at horse races (the word "racecourse" also originated from this Greek root) and so on.
- Scientists are engaged in the creation of breeds of various types of horses, their reproduction.
