How to create a local server?
Many gamers (players) prefer to useown server for playing games on the Internet with your like-minded friends. It is not so simple - to create your own local server, start it and connect, but it is possible.
Server creation
First you need the program for creating local area networks on the Internet itself. You can use Hamachi software for this.
If you want to create a local server for Minecraft, then, of course, you must have it installed.
- Using the software product, you will create a server - Minecraft server. It can be downloaded on the official website for free.
- For the server to work, a Java package must be installed on the computer. At the first start of the server, many files and folders with data will be formed.
- In the server file.properties, which contains the main parameters of the created server, you must write the following information: the IP address of the server that was provided by Hamachi during registration, the number of gamers, the presence of a variety of game modes (“player versus player”, “player versus the rest of the world”), mode "online-mode" set to "true" and others.
- Next, save the entered data and close it yourselffile. Do not forget to create a server on the local network, you must determine the internal IP address. Of course, so that other players can connect to the server, their workstations must be combined with the computer server on the local network. For them, the server IP address is the internal IP address of the computer on which, in fact, the server is created. Most preferably, the local IP address is static or bound to a Mac address.
- Login to the game is through the Minl2 software application. This will exclude all kinds of authorization failures. When registering, specify the username and password. Add your skin.
- You should update the game by entering the server. Log out of the server, and then go back into the off-line game using the specified login.
- In the menu, go to multiplayer and enter the IP address of the server.
- There are times when a game freezes when updating. This is due to the technical work carried out by providers.
