How to create a USB flash drive with windows?

The process of creating a USB flash drive with Windows looks like this:

  1. we connect and format the flash drive of a suitable capacity (depending on the size of the image);
  2. run the program as administrator;
  3. enter the "File" menu;
  4. click on the item "Open ...";
  5. find and open the saved image from Windows;
  6. enter the menu "Boot";
  7. select the item "Record hard disk image ...";
  8. press the "Record" button;
  9. We agree with the warning of deleting files on the drive.

The length of the recording depends on the size of the image,such as a flash drive and computer settings. It is not superfluous to finish all unused processes, which will speed up the operation and reduce the probability of errors.

Rufus

This small free utility allows you to create a USB flash drive with Windows in just a few clicks. You can download Rufus here. Creating a bootable flash drive with it is as follows:

  1. we connect and format the flash drive of a suitable capacity (depending on the size of the image);
  2. run Rufus;
  3. click on the button with the image of the inserted disk (near the inscription "Create boot disk");
  4. find and open the saved image from Windows;
  5. we press the button "Start".

As in the case of UltraISO, the length of the recording depends on the size of the image, such as a flash drive and computer settings.
