How to remove background in a Word?
Often when working with different kinds of documentation,information packages and statistical reports, you can see that the data in them is "highlighted" in a certain color. This is done for convenience in order to highlight the key points of the document.
In practice, however, viewing hundreds of such variegatedpages leads to eye fatigue. This marking interferes and if necessary, the creation of his report on the basis of an available document. Knowing how to remove the background in the Word, you can avoid such problems.
Delete page background
If the document is provided with not just selected fragments of text, but even whole color pages, then you can remove them as follows:
- select the "Page Layout" section;
- Click the "Page Color" button in the "Page Background" panel;
- mark the item "There is no color".
The color assigned to the pages in this document will disappear.
Deleting table backgrounds
Dedicated tables are also not uncommon in technical or financial documentation. You can get rid of the general background of the table as follows:
- We move the cursor to any place in the table;
- press the right mouse button;
- select the item "Borders and Fills";
- open the "Fill" tab in the appeared window;
- unfold the palette (the arrow under the inscription "Pouring");
- select the item "No color";
- we press the button "OK".
Deleting table cell background
The colored background of a cell in a Word is not deleted more complicated than the background of the entire table. For this:
- Move the cursor to the cell where you want to delete the background;
- press the right mouse button;
- select the item "Borders and Fills";
- open the "Fill" tab in the appeared window;
- in the box "Apply to" select "cell" (default is "table");
- unfold the palette (the arrow under the inscription "Pouring");
- select the item "No color";
- we press the button "OK".
Remove the background of the chart
Graphic areas of the diagram are much more convenient to compare on a white background. To get rid of the color substrate, they should:
- move the cursor to the border of the chart;
- press the right mouse button;
- select "Format Chart Area ...";
- go to the "Fill" (left);
- put the point across from "No pouring";
- click the "Close" button.
Remove the text background
Text in MS Word can be marked in 2 ways:
- with the help of fill;
- with the help of selection.
This red, gray or any other marking is also removed in different ways. In the first case it will be like this:
- select the fragment from which you want to remove the marking (or select all the text);
- select the "Home" section;
- click on the arrow next to the "Fill" button (with the image of the pouring bucket) in the "Paragraph" panel;
- select "No color".
In the second case:
- select the fragment from which you want to remove the marking (or select all the text);
- select the "Home" section;
- click on the arrow next to the button "Color selection text" (with a picture of a felt-tip pen and letters) in the panel "Font";
- select "No color".
The same applies to the selected text in the table.
