Installing and configuring the TP-link modem

Before connecting the tp link modem to thecomputer, make sure that the bundled RJ-45 cord that connects the device to the network card of the computer. After finding the appropriate connectors (for the modem - on the rear panel, for the computer - on the rear panel, for the laptop - on the side panel) and for the physical connection, perform the following steps:

Start the browser on the computer and in the address bar type the modem address: 192.168.1.1 by filling in the appeared window login and password with the standard word: admin;
Go to the "Basic Setup" section and set the following settings: Virtual Circuit - PVCO, Status - Activated, VPI - 0, VCI - 40, Encapsulation - 2684 Bridged IP LLC. Save the changes made;
The LAN Setting tab: The IP address is 192.168.1.1, the Subnet Mask is 255.255.255.0.
