  • Mustard. The use of mustard depends on the person's preferences. Sometimes you can add a teaspoon of mustard or mustard powder.

  1. In a bowl with a narrow bottom poured egg yolks, sugar and salt. Add mustard, sometimes you can add a little black pepper. The entire mixture is mixed with a whisk or a mixer.
  2. Further, without stopping mixing, it follows thatadd vegetable oil on a half teaspoon. Remember, if you add a lot of oil at once, the mixture can curdle. It is necessary to thoroughly mix the mixture after each added spoon of oil.
  3. When half the oil is already in the bowl, you canadd lemon juice, after which the oil can already be poured in a thin trickle. When all the oil is used, if necessary, you can add a little more sugar or salt.
  4. The sauce should turn out thick. If you need more liquid mayonnaise - you can add more oil. In order to make the mayonnaise gentle, add a few tablespoons of very hot boiling water.

Home-made mayonnaise is stored in the refrigerator for no more than a week.
