Syrup

It should be applied no more than four times a day with an interval of four hours. The dosage depends on the age of the child.

  • From 6 months to a year - from 2,5 up to 5 milliliters of a syrup.
  • From year to 3 years - from 5 to 7.5 milliliters of syrup.
  • From 3 to 6 years - from 7.5 to 10 milliliters of syrup.
  • From 6 to 12 years - from 10 to 15 milliliters of syrup.

Candles

Paracetamol in the form of a candle is injected rectally. Dosage is also associated with the age of the child.

  • From 3 months to 1 year - 1 candle (0.08 g).
  • From year to 3 years - 1 candle (0.17 g).
  • From 3 to 6 years - 1 candle (0.33 g).
  • From 6 to 12 years - 2 candles (dosage 0.33 g).

Pills

If you purchased Paracetamol in the form of tablets, how to give them to children? You can pound the medicine into powder and dilute it in water or give whole tablets.

Dosage of Paracetamol tablets for children:

  • From 2 to 6 years - half a tablet.
  • From 6 to 12 years - one tablet.
  • Older than twelve years - 1-2 tablets.
