An important point is that when treating this drug, it is necessary to drink plenty of fluids, especially if the patient suffers from dehydration. How to take Creon in each case,determines only the therapist or hepatologist. However, for children under four years old with a disease associated with pancreatic dysfunction, the initial daily dose of the drug should not exceed a thousand units of the drug per kilogram of weight.

For patients older than four years - 500 unitsof the drug per kilogram of weight at each meal. For adult patients, the daily dose of the drug should be no more than 10,000 units per 1 kg of body weight. In the presence of concomitant diseases of the pancreas or with additional nutrition, the daily or single dose may fluctuate.
