How to make a battery?
Most of us think that a regular batterycan be purchased only in the store. However, this is an erroneous opinion. In the proposed article, we will talk about how to make a battery of improvised tools and what is needed for this.
The easiest option
Before we make a battery with our own hands, we will need to prepare:
- 3 glasses of glass;
- 4 copper wire braided;
- aluminium foil;
- water;
- salt;
- tape or tape.
All 4 copper wires are peeled from both ends. After that, in 3 of them one end is wrapped with foil. Then we place the glasses in a row. The wire in them is fixed with tape or tape in the following way: to the first glass on the left is attached a wire with peeled ends, one of which must be inside the glass and the other from the outside. The first and second glass are connected by wire so that the end with the foil is in the first, and the peeled end in the second. Similarly, the second glass is connected to the third glass. The wire from the 3rd glass should come out with a peeled copper end. After all the preparatory work, you will have to pour salt water into the glasses, and to check the extreme ends of the 1st and 3rd glasses you can connect an alarm clock that works on batteries.
How to make a homemade potato battery
We cut into two halves the potato and clean itwires that pierce one half, and in the other a dimple is made with a teaspoon. The dimple size must match the size of the spoon. After that, toothpaste is mixed with salt (you can experiment with the proportions), and fill this dimple with a dimple in the potato. Now, from the inside of the 1st half, bend the wires so that they get into the hole with the mixture during the joining of both halves with toothpicks. We wait a couple of minutes to charge the structure and for the appearance of a spark we bring the wires to each other.
