• The second theory was put forward by D. Mendeleev. He, like Lomonosov, assumed that oil was formed under the influence of temperature and pressure, but the difference is that the raw materials according to Mendeleev were not organic substances, but mineral substances. This theory was not supported. After all, according to her, oil should be formed even now. But this is not so. And if you understand, then it contains only organic substances, and this directly indicates its origin.

According to the theory of the specialist of the Institute of Oil and Gas Problems, belonging to the Russian Academy of Sciences Berenbaum AA, the climatic water cycle transfers hydrocarbons. Above the ground, the hydrocarbon is contained in an oxidized form. It dissolves in water and in the form of precipitation falls into the interior of the earth's crust to a depth of about 10 kilometers. There it is recovered in the form of methane and other hydrocarbon compounds.
