How many continents on Earth?

The word "continent" has the closest synonym - "continent". In general, the meaning is the same: it is a section of the earth's crust that mostly protrudes above the level of the world's ocean.

I wonder how many continents on Earth? There are six (6) continents or continents on Earth. Here is their list:

1. Antarctica is located in the southern hemisphere, covered with snow and ice.
2. Eurasia - is in the Northern Hemisphere, partits islands are in the South. Most lie in the Eastern Hemisphere, the western and eastern ends are in the Western Hemisphere. This is the largest continent.
3. South America is located in the Western and Southern hemispheres.
4. Australia - is located in the southern and eastern hemispheres, the smallest continent.
5. Africa - one part of it is in the Northern subtropical belt, the other - in the Southern.
6. North America - is in the North of the Western Hemisphere.
