After the improvement and tuning of the injection car, as well as the installation of more powerful units, it is necessary to flash the power supply. Consider how to flash the "January" for a new configuration of the engine.

Firmware Method

Block "January" has 81 contacts, among them 5large and 76 small. Preparing for the firmware, you should apply for them 12-volt power. The K-line contact of the unit responsible for the firmware is connected to the adapter.

The firmware of the power supply is made using the Master Kit. For its successful conduct, several wires must be soldered:

From the first contact of the Master Kit is a wire, towhich for soldering to the power supply is soldered one more. At the tip of the second wire, six contacts are soldered on the corresponding sections of the January block.
To the contact of the K-line, a contact is also attached to the other elements of the electronic unit.
To the power wire "Minus" two more wires are soldered, which also go to the contacts of the unit.

To flash the recorder, you need to insertUSB-adapter into the corresponding connector and supply power. As a source of current, you can use a battery for a motorcycle or any other 12-volt device. While flashing the electronic unit, we use the program CombiLoader, in which you should select the desired firmware and load it into the buffer. To record, it is necessary to remove and put the wire back on the thirteenth contact of the unit.
