The New Year is a wonderful holiday, and it is the most beloved by most people, and that is why many people decorate the house with their own hands for this holiday.

Of course, the most popular New YearSnowflakes are considered an ornament, you can make them from paper or from other improvised means, for example, from felt, matches and even salted dough. But in this article I will tell you how to make beautiful volumetric snowflakes from paper, which will become a wonderful and unusual decoration of your house for a wonderful holiday.

It will take:

colored or white paper,
scissors,
pencil,
ruler,
stapler,
adhesive tape or glue.

By the way, if you want to make a colored snowflake, and there is no paper of the right color at hand, make it out of white, and then it can be painted with simple colors.

So, let's start:

We take 6 sheets of paper and make from them squares withsides about 15 cm. You can make squares bigger or smaller, but everything should be within the reasonable range. Note, it will be difficult to work with very small workpiece, as well as with too large.
We take one square, add it diagonally, we also do the same with other workpieces. As a result, we get six triangles.
Pencil draw lines on triangles. They are applied parallel to the sides of the triangle, it is necessary to leave the same distance between the lines.
Now take the scissors and cut each line, leaving to the central part of the triangle of 5 mm.
We unfold the triangle, that is, we return our square.
The central part is rolled into a tube, and the edge of the tube is connected with adhesive tape or glue.
Now turn the square and form another tube from the elements of the next section.
Repeat step 6 until the incisions are over.
Paragraphs 5-7 are repeated for the remaining five squares.
Thus, we have obtained six "petals" of snowflakes. We collect them and fasten them with a stapler in the center.
If it seems to you that the "petals" stick together are not good enough, make a few more strokes with the stapler.
Snowflake is ready, but if you want itlooked more interesting, it should be painted. You can paint, alternating colors, for example, one petal - light blue, the second - blue, then again - light blue, etc. You can use a special paint with sparkles to paint the snowflake.
