Today, more and more parents prefer to buy a toy in the store, but the more valuable is the experience for the child when he will create a weapon simulator with his own hands with your help. In this article we propose a simple method of manufacturing a self-made wooden automatic weapon, which fires special bullets.

Materials and Tools

You will need

• several tree trimmings;
• piece of particle board;

• aluminum wire with a diameter of 3-4 mm;

Trunk

You can make an automaton without creating preliminary drawings. Using a saw, prepare from the wooden bars 3 parts of the future machine with the following dimensions:

1. 300 * 50 * 15 mm - the receiver.
2. 150 * 40 * 15 mm - the handle.
3. 200 * 40 * 15 mm - shop.

The trunk box will remain rectangular in shape,But the other parts on the short side need to be cut obliquely. At the handle, the angle of the saw should be slightly larger than that of the shop. Glue or nail the two pieces to the receiver. Mount the store in the middle, and the handle, stepping back slightly from the left edge. And the handle should be directed to the left, and the store to the right.

Butt

The application is made of chipboard or piece of board. Give it a characteristic shape. To do this, make one of the long sides of the rectangle beveled. Fasten the butt to the receiver from the side where there is already a handle, using a hinged loop and screws. Thus, the butt you will get folding.

How to make a mechanism for shooting and bullets

Make a trigger and a mechanism for shooting.

1. From above to the receiver above the handle of onefrom the sides glue the clothespin. And on the other end of the trunk on the sides nail small carnations, they will need to tie the ends of the elastic. Length of the last measure so that it is properly stretched, but it could be clamped with a clothespin.
2. It will be most difficult to make a trigger. You need to bend the wire in such a way that the ring turns out, and the ends twist. The ring will wrap around the barrel box with the clothespin, and the twist will fulfill the duties of the trigger. When you press it, the ring should open the clothespin. The hook is attached to the nail driven into the receiver.
3. Production of bullets. Bend pieces of wire 2-2.5 cm long with the letter "P". And the shells are ready. The machine works like this: a bullet is put on an elastic band, the elastic band is tightened and clamped with a clothespin. When the trigger is pressed, a shot is fired.

The final stage of the manufacture of weapons

• give the receiver a somewhat rounded shape and paint the entire unit in black;
• to the left side of the machine attach the bolt on the screws, this will be the bolt.
