After that, you can proceed to the settings directly to the broadcast itself. To do this, it is necessary in the settings of the Winamp player:

  1. Go to the item "DSP / Effect";
  2. Click on the line "Nullsoft SHOUTcast Source DSP";
  3. In the window that opens, select the "Output" tab;
  4. Set the checkboxes next to "Connect at Startup" and "Automatic Reconnection on Connection Failure";
  5. Enter the IP address of your computer in the "Address" field, 8000 in the "Port" field, the password in the "Password" field (point 6);
  6. Click on the button "Yellowpages";
  7. In the window that opens, check the box "Make this server public";
  8. In the field "Description" enter the name of your station.

If necessary, you can also configure the characteristics of the broadcast audio:

  1. Open the "Encoder" tab;
  2. Choose bitrate and mode.

The final step is to configure the source of the broadcast. This is done like this:

  1. Open the "Input" tab;
  2. Select "Winamp" from the list (songs from the current playlist will be transferred).
