Hello! Today we once again talk about drawing, namely the practice of drawing. As I said in the article "How to draw a book," the main exercise for the person drawing is nothing else than practice. And it's easier to practice using simple pictures. Now I will tell you how to draw a dolphin in stages.

The main feature of dolphin drawing is the abundance of smooth lines that will perfectly train you. Here are four simple steps that will teach you how to draw a dolphin.

First step. Draw the body of a dolphin. It consists of two curves. The lower one is slightly convex upward, and the second, located above, is also convex upward, but has a large "degree of convexity".
In the second stage, we add tail and fins. The uppermost fin is almost centered, slightly biased towards the head, the two lower ones on, the body, underneath. The tail has the shape of a triangle. Itself is small. It is drawn as follows: the place where two generatrices join, the trunk rests on the lower side of the triangular tail, and already from the edges of this side on the body we drop two lines, which form the tail. Do not make the tail huge, everything should be proportionate and harmonious.
The third stage. Let's start adding details: set a large shape to the fins, draw a face to our hero. The tail is made a tail, not a triangle. To do this, replace the lower face of the triangle with a wavy line of the tail, and create the tail by the lines that formed the tail.

In principle, we have already answered the question of how to draw a dolphin in pencil, but why stop on a small one!

Let's bring our drawing to perfection! What we can do? On a blank sheet, we can leave our drawing, but it's much more interesting to add to it, say, a sea or a ship in the background. Why am I saying all this? And to the fact that it is by fantasizing and developing our drawings ourselves, we get the very experience we need. Moreover, there is nothing more interesting than drawing on the move, thus plunging into the drawing completely. If you manage to do this, then you are on the right track!

If you do not want to draw something around, butdo exactly the drawing of the character, then the best option is simply to cram it with a pencil. Lightly shade the dolphin, and then with a piece of paper rub out the picture, it will cover in a tone. The eraser can remove places where the tone has crossed the border of the picture, and the borders are surrounded with a soft pencil.
