Without installing additional software

1. Click the "Start" button, select the "Control Panel" menu item. Set the "Small Icons" view mode and open the "Backup and Restore" section.
2. In the window that opens, select "Create a system image".
3. In a new window, the user will have a question"Where should I save the archive?". Select will be offered from the following options - a removable hard drive, internal drive, DVD or network drive. It's safer and more reliable to store information on a removable hard disk.
4. Then we solve the problem: "What disks should I include in the archiving?". You can create an image of at least all volumes of your system, but the more sections you tick, the more space, of course, they will take.
5. Now confirm the settings for the backup and click the button to archive. This procedure will take a long time. The average computer archives 15 GB of information about 20 minutes.

After completing the archiving procedure, the system prompts you to create a recovery disc. We agree and wait for the recording to take place. This concludes our work.

Creating an image using Daemon Tools

1. Download, install and run Daemon Tools.
2. We insert into the drive / USB-connector the disk (flash drive) on which the image will be created.
3. In the program, click the icon "Create disk image".
4. In the settings window we specify the path to the disk on which we want to create the image. In this case, you can choose the resolution images - .mds or .iso
5. After specifying the required parameters, press the "Start" button.
6. It remains only to wait for the completion of the recording process.

Creating an image with Alcohol 120%

1. Download, install and run Alcohol 120%.
2. In the "Basic operations" section we select "Image mastering", click "Next" in the window that appears.
3. A window opens in which you can specify the name of the image, and select all the files that you want to include in the image.
4. Next, you need to select the folder in which the image will be placed. In addition, you need to make sure that "ISO Image" is selected in the "Image Format" field.
5. We press "Start".
6. When the procedure is complete, click the "Done" button.
7. The image is ready, and you know where it is stored, and therefore, you can copy it where necessary, for example, to a removable hard disk.
