Then you should place the cursor in the place where your chart will be located. Next, go to the "Insert" tab and in the "Illustrations" section click on the "Chart" button. After these steps, a new "Insert Chart" window opens before you. In the left part of the presented templates, select the "Graph" item by clicking the left mouse button. In the right part of the window from the presented thumbnails, you can select the desired type of graph.

After selecting the desired thumbnail with the left buttonclick the OK button. Then you need to wait for the Microsoft Office Excel document to open. On the Excel sheet, you enter the data you need, set parameters, change the data range, and rename the coordinate axes. All results of the entered changes in the Excel document can be found on the left side of the screen, that is, in a Word document. After you finish editing the schedule data, you will need to close the Excel document.

If the data was not entered correctly orjust need to make changes to the constructed graph, then you should use the context menu "Working with diagrams". It will become available if you select any element in the graph area. So, if you made an error when entering data in an Excel document, you should open the "Designer" menu in the "Working with diagrams" menu and click the "Edit data" button in the "Data" section and change what is needed. Now you know how to draw a graph in Word and save your time on opening unnecessary programs.
