How to get to Rome?
Rome is not only the capital of Italy. This ancient city, which was founded in 753 BC. e., along with Venice became a real tourist mecca for travelers from all over the world. By Train
To get to Rome by train, you needwill go with the transplants, since there are no direct trains from Russia to Rome. There is an international route №017B Moscow-Nice, which goes through Belarus, Poland, Austria, Italy (such cities as Verona, Milan, Genoa, San Remo, Bordighera, Ventimiglia) to France, to the city of Nice. On this route the train departs from Belorussky Station at 12:50 on Thursdays and at 09:38 on Saturdays. Total travel time 47 hours 48 min.
However, tickets for this train are far from cheap(56500 rubles). Significantly, you can save money if you travel to Rome via Brest. Directly, unfortunately, you will not be able to get from Brest directly to Rome, but after 2-3 transplants, you will be able to reach your destination much cheaper than in the previous version.
By airplane
Air communication with Rome from Moscow is carried out through the airports of Domodedovo, Sheremetyevo-D and Vnukovo in Russia and Fiumicino airport in Italy. The flight duration is about 4 hours:
- From Domodedovo - flight BV 2199 at 04:00 on Tues, Thurs, Sat and at 05:00 on Tue, Sat.
- From Vnukovo - flight UN 399 at 10:20.
- From Sheremetyevo-D flights SU 3204, AZ 595, SU 2400, SU 2402, AZ 547, SU 2406, UN 369, AZ 549, SU 3202, SU 265, SU 2404.
In addition, you can get to Rome by planeSt. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Samara, Kaliningrad, Mineralnye Vody, Rostov on Don, Kazan, Nizhny Novgorod, Sochi, Krasnodar, Chelyabinsk, Perm, Ufa, Stavropol and some other cities.
By car or by bus
The distance from Moscow to Rome is 3115 km. You will have to go through the territory of Belarus, Poland and Austria. There are no direct international bus routes from Russia to Rome, however many tourist companies organize excursion bus tours (for example, MEZHREGIONAVTOTRANS).
