By train to Rome
There are no direct trains to Rome. You can go with multiple transplants, but it's not very convenient. Optimal to choose the direction of Moscow - Nice, and from there to get to Rome - by European trains or by plane. Direct trains from Nice do not go in this direction, so you have to follow first French to Ventimiglia, and from there - Italian to Rome (with a transfer in Genoa). The fare in general will be rather big, considering that the ticket Moscow-Nice costs around 22000 rubles and above. And the time on the road - more than a day, and it's only up to Nice.
Another option - to get to Nice, and then fly a direct flight on the plane to the final destination. Travel time is a little over an hour.
The train schedule can be viewed here:
- tutu.ru (from Moscow to Nice);
- voyages-sncg.com (from France to Ventimiglia);
- trenitalia.com (from Ventimiglia to Rome).
Book tickets can also be directly through the site, which is very convenient.
By car to Rome
By car to Italy, too, can be reached. But this is an option for a company or a family - alone it makes no sense to get this way. On the way, we have to spend 3,000 km, and during this time one driver will get tired. Need a "change" - and one will simply be bored to go.
So, there are several options for the way - it depends on which cities you are leaving. Consider in detail the movement in the direction from Moscow.
- First it will be necessary to reach Belarus - Minsk. Take the M-1 road, checking the signs. The road leads to Smolensk, but you do not need to enter it. Then the track replaces the E-30. With the Belarusian customs it's easy - you quickly pass it.
- Minsk you need to go round, and the next point on your way is Brest. Here you have to stand for several hours on the border.
- Then go on the same E-30 to the crossroadsshortly before Warsaw. Choose the E-67 highway: it is shorter. Your path will be through the following cities: Mszczonow, Sosnovichi, Gliwice, Rubnik. Then you pass the border post.
- Then you follow the territory of the Czech Republic. You will see the Mikulov sign in the course of the traffic - you go there.
- After crossing the Austrian border, follow theTrace E-461. You must drive through the towns of Graz, Klagenfurt, Villach. Then you need to move on E-55. When you cross the Italian border, you can not worry: all the roads, more precisely the highways, "lead to Rome", and you somehow get there.
