How to record a disc if there is no Nero?
Before writing information to a removable CDYou need to determine the type of disc and the device on which the disc will be played. The process of writing files to disk depends on the type of operating system. If you do not have Nero, then each system has a workaround for writing information to removable media.
To burn disks on Windows XP
- LMC cut out previously prepared for writing to disk files (Select-PCM- "Cut").
- We insert into the drive an empty CD / DVD-R / RW disc. A system startup notification will pop up, you must open this removable disk and transfer all previously copied files to it.
- Since these are not full files, and the usual shortcuts are at the top (or left) of the command line, click on "Record".
- The "Wizard" window for the removable disks will open.
- Enter the name for the disk, click "Next".
- The recorded disc will leave the removable drive and the system window with the green recording line will disappear.
To write to Windows 7 and Windows Vista
- Previously, the method of selection-cutting files, you need to copy the information to write to the CD. Open the removable drive via My Computer.
- Double click the paintwork. A window pops up with the method of using the disk.
- Two options will be offered:
- Flash-card. Using a removable disk as a USB drive means to upload and delete files in unlimited quantities.
- CD / DVD removable disk. From a flash card, you can delete files one at a time, and the disk is either completely erased, or all files are recorded simultaneously, without the possibility of adding / removing single files.
If the first method was chosen:
- Format the removable disk.
- Open it and make a copy of the files.
- In a pop-up window, you can observe the process of writing a disc.
If the second method was selected:
- An empty folder of the cumulative CD will pop up. Click on the RMB to transfer or copy all the prepared files to this folder.
- The file shortcuts will be displayed in the main folder of the CD-ROM. To further record information on this disc, select "Write files" at the top or left in the operations.
- The program window "Burn to disk" pops up. You need to click the "Next" LMB, a green bar will pop up that shows the process of recording information on a CD.
- After the end of the operation, the disk drive with the disk will be removed automatically.
Following such simple instructions, you can easily write down the necessary information on a CD, even when there is no Nero. From any situation you can always find a way out.
