Screwdrivers: flat and cross-shaped. To ensure that the screw is not lost when unscrewing, it is recommended to use a Phillips screwdriver with a magnetic tip.

Alcohol and cotton swabs.
A flat object for applying thermal grease.
Knife. It is necessary for opening the case of the laptop.
Tweezers.
Grease for the cooler. It is quite suitable lubricant for bearings.
Thermal pads. If necessary, replace them.

Disassembly of laptop Toshiba

We turn the laptop so that its frontthe side was below. Using a screwdriver, we unscrew the large bolts located around the perimeter of the case and small bolts, with which the hard disk and the memory device are fixed.
Then take out the battery and unscrew another three small bolts that are under the battery and one bolt under the memory cover. We take out the CD-drive.
In order not to confuse all the bolts, it is better to put them separately from each other and sign which of them from what.
We turn the device over and open it. In order to remove the keyboard, you need to unscrew the two bolts. In order to not damage the case with a screwdriver, you can use a mediator or a plastic card and with them you need to pick up the panel that closes the two bolts under the keyboard. After removing the panel, unscrew these bolts.
Disconnect from the keyboard cable, while carefully moving the latches up and unscrew another five bolts.
Further it is necessary to disconnect the case, this must also be done very carefully, so as not to break anything.
Remove the touchpad (an alternative to the classic mouse) and carefully disconnect the connector located next to it.
Remove the upper part of the case.
Before removing the motherboard, disconnect all wires and trains, and then remove the board. It should be easily pulled up and to the right and it can easily be removed.
To remove the fan, unscrew the two bolts and disconnect the power cord. If the laptop has not been cleaned for a long time, it is for certain that the radiator will be clogged with dust.
In order to lubricate the processor, it is necessary to unscrewbolts from the cooling system, and then remove the radiator. Immediately it becomes clear why the laptop has overheated. The thermal paste on the processor has dried, so it must be lubricated with fresh thermal paste.
