How do I limit a page to a contact?

Social networks, of course, are created for communication. But often the information that users post on their personal pages in social networks, is not intended for idle curious. How do I limit a page to a contact? Is it possible to make access to the page possible only for selected users?

We offer you a brief guide that will help to solve this problem.

  1. Open your personal profile in the contact.
  2. On the left side of the screen, in the personal menu, find the item "My settings" and go to this section.
  3. In the opened section in the top menu, find the "Privacy" item and follow this link.
  4. Now you can proceed to the privacy settings and restrict access to your page, or rather the information placed on it.

Here you can restrict access to viewing personal information: photos, audio recordings, yours, groups, friends list, subscriptions, etc.

  • All users - the information is completely open.
  • Only friends - information is only open to users on your contact list.
  • Only friends and friends of friends - information is only available to users on the list of your friends in the contact and their friends.
  • Some friends are information only for users that you mark in your friends list.
  • Everything, except - the information is open to everyone, except for the name of the friend or several friends you have entered.
  • Only I - the information is open only for you or for someone who will go to your page under your login and password.

Here, similar to the previous section, you can adjust access to viewing records on your wall, as well as comments to them.

In addition, you can allow or forbid to leave records on the wall and comment on existing posts.

Contacting me

Here, by selecting categories of users or specific people, you can prohibit or allow:

  • send you messages;
  • invite you to the applications (games, groups);
  • call you by video link;
  • receive friend prompts.

Here you can hide your page from search sites, adjust its "visibility" for all or only for users in the contact.
