If your TV does not have a Wi-Fi option, for sure, there is a place for an Ethernet cable. The Ethernet cable is usually shipped with the router, but can also be bundled with the TV. To connect, you need to connect an appropriate Ethernet cable to the modem and TV.

Setting the access to the network will be carried out using the example of Samsung Smart TV, however, for other TVs the scheme will be approximately the same.

  1. Go to the settings of the TV, select the "Network" section, then "Network settings".
  2. Immediately after selecting the last item, the Network Setup Wizard starts.
  3. The setup wizard will ask you to select the type of connection, in this case it is the cable, then select "Cable". It remains only to wait for the notification of a successful connection!

Connect and configure via Wi-Fi

If your TV is equipped with a Wi-Fi option, then to connect, you just need to turn on Wi-Fi on the TV and wait until it finds a network.

To set up access:

  1. Go to the settings of the TV, select the "Network" section, then - "Network settings".
  2. We wait. When the Network Setup Wizard asks about the type of connection, select "Wireless Network".
  3. In the next window we select our own from the list of wireless networks.
  4. If your Wi-Fi network is password protected, the setup wizard will ask for the password - enter it.
  5. We wait a couple of minutes and check access to the network!
