Jam without seeds

Very tasty jam from cherries is obtained from berriesseedless. There are several ways to remove them: special machines, pins and just hands. Cherries are washed, cleaned of branches and dried in a colander. After removing the bones, the cherry is punctured in several places. Sugar should be taken in the proportion of 1: 2 or 1: 1, in each case the density of jam and taste will be different.

First you need to cook sugar syrup: 1.5 cups of cherry juice or water for a half kilogram of sugar.

Purified cherries are filled with syrup of sugar and nottouch for 2 hours. Then the jam is boiled, stirring constantly. Readiness is defined as follows: dripping jam on the nail, if it does not spread, is ready. An ancient way is to put some jam in a glass with cold water - readiness is determined by air bubbles rising up.

Cherry jam with stones

Delicious jam is obtained from berries with bones. Berries are washed, pierced in several places. Then put into boiling water for 1.5 minutes and recline into a colander.

The proportions are: 1.5 cups of water, 1 kilogram of cherries and 1.2 kilograms of sugar.

The order of cooking is simple:

  1. Cook the syrup from the water and half the sugar.
  2. Then pour cherry syrup and insist 4 hours.
  3. Then add the remaining sugar and cook for 10 minutes.
  4. The cherry jam is ready!
