What to cook from the tongue?
In our today's article, we brought a few recipes that will not leave anybody indifferent to your family. Now you will learn what to cook from the tongue. These dishes are for real gourmets!
Tongue in tomato
Ingredients:
- 2, 5 kg of beef tongue;
- Two tablespoons of butter;
- Onion;
- Tomatoes (can be fresh or canned) about 8 pcs;
- One clove of garlic;
- Dried basil (half a teaspoon);
- Salt, pepper, bay leaves, parsley.
Put the tongue in a saucepan, fill it with water and cooklow heat 2-4 hours. Just before the end of the boiling, put parsley, onions, salt and bay leaves into the water. After the tongue is welded, remove the skin from it. To do this, immediately after cooking, put the tongue in a container of cold water, then it will be easier to do.
Make the sauce: Melt butter and fry in it onion and garlic (cut beforehand finely) to brown. Add salt, pepper, basil and grated tomatoes. Bring this case to a boil and keep under the lid, over a slow fire, for half an hour.
Put the languages on the baking sheet and pour the sauce. We send the dish to the heated oven for about forty minutes. From time to time you can water the tongues with the remaining sauce.
Garnet with tongue salad
To all lovers of salads, such an unusual salad with a tongue, be sure to like. In addition, thanks to a grenade, it turns out to be very beautiful and will necessarily decorate with itself any table.
Ingredients:
- 300 g of beef tongue;
- 1 sweet pepper;
- Canned pineapple (about 3 cups);
- 100 g of hard cheese;
- 1 grenade;
- Several cloves of garlic;
- Mayonnaise.
The language is cooked and peeled off (everything, as inprevious recipe), cut into cubes. Sweet peppers are cleaned and also sliced, along with pineapple. Garlic crushed, cheese rubbed. Mix everything except pineapple and pomegranate. We fill with mayonnaise. With pomegranate seeds and pineapple we decorate the salad on top. As you can see, nothing complicated. Nevertheless, the salad turns out to be unusually tasty.
