If you decide to change the tank in the toilet, thenit is not necessary to apply for help to the plumber, you can do everything yourself, as all the components are already sold almost ready. You only need to figure out how to assemble the toilet bowl (more specifically - its constituent parts) together.

Assembly plan

Instructions. The first step is to familiarize yourself with the instructions for installing the tank itself, as well as assembling the drainage system.
Install the drainage device. The new drainage device is already sold ready. All you need to do is collect several parts (based on the instructions) and install the device in the tank.
Installing the reservoir. Install the reservoir in a special central rubber gasket supplied with the reservoir. This gasket for convenience can be put on the nut securing the drainage mechanism. After that, tighten the nuts of the fixing screws, but not until the end. First check the tightness of the tank - connect the communication, and then tighten the nuts as far as the stop.

Recommendations

If the fixing screws are made of a material that can be corroded, they must be replaced with stainless steel.
In the course of operation, all connecting elements must be treated with silicone for tightness.
If you decide to build a tank by yourself, experts recommend installing additional nuts on plastic nuts - lambs.
