Very often, a hermit-spider is confused with a house-spiderspider, which is also brown, but does not have a pattern on the back. These spiders are also poisonous, but their poison is much weaker, and therefore for a person they do not pose a great danger.

Also spiders with long elongated legs are harmless to humans - these are either basement spiders or haymaking spiders.

How to kill a spider: several simple ways

You can kill a spider with a regular tap or any solid object, just slamming it. But just make sure that the spider is flattened, since its shell is much stronger than that of flies or beetles.

But how to kill a spider on the ceiling? To do this, put some pelvis on the floor just in the place where it could fall, about under it. Then take a special spray against the spiders and spray the spider until it becomes so heavy that it falls from the ceiling. Any varnish or spray in this case will also be effective. Alternatively, you can use a vacuum cleaner to remove the spider along with the cobweb.
