Why do people grow old?
Legends, fairy tales and scary stories - many of themthey concern people who somehow gained immortality. However, at a certain stage of existence, it became more interesting for mankind to ask why people are aging, and not why they are dying. Almost every person would agree to live to the young and vigorous (and die at once) to the age of 80, than to "squeak" for up to 150 years, but with chronic sores, without teeth, almost blind and not understanding anything. Why people change during the course of their life, they have already sorted out more or less (this can be read in the article Why people change), but why people are necessarily getting old - the question remains open.
Biological theory
It is known that every 11 months the bodythe adult person is completely renewed - that is, theoretically again consists of completely new cells. However, they do not occur simultaneously, and by the time when the "fresh" in one part of the body were formed, in another they are already "elderly". This creates an imbalance of ties, which are loosening up more and more. The older the person, the greater the time gap and loosening of ties - that's why people are getting old.
Energy theory
Most people believe that a person startsto grow old, when he ceases to see something new around him. Repetition has already been exhausted many times, fatigue sucks strength and energy out of the body, a person is tired and from this his body is extinguished.
