Thailand - an amazing beauty state,located in Southeast Asia on the Indochina Peninsula. In the north-west the country borders with Myanmar, in the northeast - with Laos, and the southern neighbor of Thailand is Cambodia.
From the west, the state is washed by the Andaman Sea, and on the east by the Siamese Gulf of the South China Sea.
Thanks to where is Thailand, and alsocharacteristic for him interesting climatic transitions, dictated by an impressive extensive territory, the tourist opportunities of the state are really brilliant.
The natural resources of thisexotic country, as well as its relief, socially - the ethnic composition of the population. This allows to allocate 5 geographical regions of the state: North, North-East, East, Central, South.
- The northern region is mountains covered with forests fromtrees of valuable species and numerous small lakes. Thanks to the climatic features, it is here that Thais grow potatoes, apples and strawberries - in other regions these cultures have not taken root.
- The north-eastern region is the mountain plateau of Korat. The extremely unfavorable climate made this part of the country the poorest.
- The eastern part is rivers, mountains, woodedterrain, swamps and beaches with white sand. The main city of the region is the famous Pattaya - one of the key tourist centers of the country. In addition, the east is marked by one of the largest ports in all Southeast Asia under the name Laem-Chabang, as well as free trade zones.
- The central region is the plains and foothillsterritory. The local population here is engaged in agriculture (especially rice cultivation) and industry. In this part of the country there is one of the largest and most interesting cities in the world - Bangkok.
- The southern part is plains and mountains, picturesque river valleys, mangrove swamps. The region is located on the peninsula of Malacca. The food industry is most developed here.
