Let's see in more detail what it is - an oak tree. First of all, this plant, namely - a tree belonging to the Bukov family. Oak is quite unpretentious and grows in the middle lane. In height, it reaches about 50 m. The crown of the tree does not close at the top, but is wide. Oak is characterized by a dark gray crust, a feature of it - an abundance of cracks.

Oak is a famous long-liver. It is able to bear fruit only from 30 years after planting, in the beginning of autumn. Oak characteristic fruits - called acorns.

And where does the oak grow? It can be found in areas covered with forests. In mixed they grow in river valleys. And in the zone of deciduous forests there are whole oak forests.

Oak bark and acorns are used in medicine. Decoction of oak bark has powerful anti-inflammatory, astringent, hemostatic properties.
