In translation from ancient Greek "metaphysics"means "what is after physics". This was the title of the Alexandrian philosopher Andronik of Rhodes in the 1st century BC. group of 14 texts of Aristotle, placing them in a collection of works after treatises on physics.

What is metaphysics? This is the doctrine of the origin of things, of the original nature of being and reality. The term arose more than 2500 years ago, today we can distinguish ancient or ancient metaphysics, classical metaphysics and metaphysics of our days.

Aristotle considered his writings the basis of philosophy, that is,e., science, studying, the root causes of the birth of life itself. The Thinker called the works devoted to this discipline - "On Essence and Essence", emphasizing the idea that, in describing the fundamental physical principles, new knowledge stands at a higher level in relation to the actual physics. The concept of metaphysics has acquired the synonym of the word "philosophy". In a broad sense, metaphysics considers any phenomenon in its entirety, in a complex of manifestations: both physical (real) and intangible (spiritual).

Our contemporaries under metaphysical phenomenamean objects and events that lie outside the physical world and belong to the category of "supersensory," mystical, occult. In everyday life, speaking of the metaphysical nature of something, we have in mind something strange, incomprehensible, some abstract concepts.

Thinking about what metaphysics is, evaluating the evolution of this term, we understand that this is one of the significant forms of human wisdom and a special way of knowing the world in which we exist.
