Why is the Earth round?
Looking in the atlas, the child will ask you why the Earth is round. You correct it, because our planet Earth is not round, but spherical.
This form is obtained due to gravitational forces. They tend to locate all areas of the surface at the same distance from the center of our planet.
Here and with a liquid there is something similar, when it is placed in a state of weightlessness. If next to it there are no bodies with a large mass, then the liquid turns into a sphere, that is, it takes on a form similar to the Earth. Under the solid crust of the Earth is a liquid core, so the Earth and the round, or rather spherical.
