How to remove the panel on 2109?

There are many situations when it is necessary to removepanel on 2109. It can be a small car body repair, painting, repair of the heating system of the cabin, as well as simply replacing the old panel with a new one. Before proceeding to perform, it is necessary to dismantle all devices, hinges and decorative elements on the panel.

Panel dismantling

In order to correctly dismantle the panel and at the same time not to break the integrity of other elements, it is necessary to adhere to the following algorithm:

At the very beginning, you need to remove the steering wheel, then remove the suction carburetor, pulling it on yourself (if the car is injected, then you can skip the step), then you need to remove the handle from the drive rod.
Next, remove the console cover by unscrewing the two bolts on the sides, remove the cigarette lighter and the ash compartment.
The next step is to remove the handle of the regulatorrevolutions of the ventilating electric motor, and then - levers of a drive of heating system of interior. It is also necessary to disconnect the power from the backlight and the power connector from the fan of the stove.
After that, you can remove the remaining elements -the power-assist knob and the dashboard illumination switch, the light regulator and the hydro-corrector, reflecting the driver and passenger windows heating devices - and there also unscrew the bolts from the top plate.
After that it is necessary to remove the switch of the headlights byand pull it out with a screwdriver, as far as the wires allow, then detach the pads from the switch itself. It must be postponed, and the shoe back pushed inside.
Remove the radio and radio jack (if any), the dashboard cover.
Now you can disconnect the power from the cigarette lighter, then from the alarm button connector, and also disconnect the pads with wires from the fog-light regulator and heated rear window.
Remove the instrument board from the panel and pull out the cable. With the ignition lock, you must do the same.
The last step is to remove the bolts securing the heating plate and the guide rods of the stove. Now you can unscrew all the remaining bolts and remove the panel.
