How to flash a Prestigio tablet?

Prestigio Multipad - Tablet PC based onAndroid operating system. This is a fairly budgetary device, but because its reliability leaves much to be desired, it is often necessary to reflash the device for more stable operation. In this article, I'll show you how to flash the Prestigio Multipad.

Choose the firmware

In this article we will describe how to improve the device with the help of the official firmware.

You can download the official firmware here. To select the appropriate firmware, go to the tablet settings, then go to "About the tablet / Assembly number". Under "Assembly number" you will see the required firmware version.

Installing drivers

Take the tablet, hold down the decrease keyVolume and, without releasing, with a needle or other thin object, press the reset button Mic / Reset (located on the back cover). Do not release the volume key!
Continuing to hold down the volume down key, connect the device to the PC. Now you can release the key.
Go to "Device Manager" on the PC, click on the tablet double-click, go to the "Driver" tab and click the "Update" button.
In the "How to search for software for the device" window, select "Perform a search on the PC".
Specify the path to the drivers (the drivers are in the folder with the downloaded firmware).

Firmware

Before flashing, copy all the important data from the device to a safe place!

Open the Tools folder (located in the folder with the downloaded firmware) and run the RKBatchTool program.
Disconnect the tablet from the PC and connect again, following steps 1,2 of the previous instruction.
In the program RKBatchTool the green indicator will be displayed and the Upgrade button will be available, press it and wait for the firmware to finish!
