Important! Before booting, back up all the important files!

Connect the iPad to the PC via the supplied cable.
Open iTunes (if iTunes has not been installed before, download it here).
In the subsection iTunes "Devices" select your iPad, hold down the Shift key and click the "Restore iPad" button.
In the window that appears, specify the path to the downloaded firmware file, click "Open".
