How to connect a smartphone to Wi-Fi?

Wi-Fi on android-devices

To connect a smartphone running on the Android OS to Wifi, you must perform the following steps:

  1. Go to the main menu of the device and find there "Settings".
  2. In the window that opens, select the item "Wireless networks", and then tick the "Enable Wi-Fi" command.

But it's better not to use an open Wi-Fi channel, because their security is low. It is recommended that you use a secure wireless channel:

  2. Now select the access point with the protected channel and, if necessary, enter the password (it is set by the user himself when setting up the router at home), and then click on "Connect".

Wi-Fi on iOS devices

If you have a device running on iOS, then to connect the wireless network you need to use this instruction:

  1. Go to the main menu and select "Settings".
  2. In the opened section, select "Network", and then "Wi-Fi".
  3. Now click the "Enable" button and the device will automatically find the wireless network.
