How to fight on your hands?
Although some do not take Armwrestling seriously, this is a sport, and requires regular training. How to fight on the hands by the rules, and how to prepare for the competition? We'll figure it out.
How to fight on your hands: basic rules
- Hold the competition on special tables equipped with soft armrests and pins to support the hand, not participating in the fight.
- When participants engage their fingers, they look for the most comfortable position. The referee (judge) should see the phalanges of the thumbs.
- Shoulders in the fight are located parallel to the surface of the table.
- Hands can be secured with straps, if they are unstable and slip off the table.
- The referee gives the command to start the fight. When one armwrestler can tilt the second hand before touching the table, he wins.
It is forbidden in the fight:
- tear off or shift the elbows from the table;
- cross the head of the middle line of the table;
- release the pin;
- to tear off the legs from the floor;
- touch your head before grabbing your hands.
In case of violation of the rules, participants can be disqualified.
How to learn to fight on your hands
Many beginning arm wrestlers make the followinga mistake - they believe that only the hand should be trained. You need to pay attention to different muscle groups. Carry out a pyramid, do isolation exercises, strengthen the elbow joint.
If you feel a pain in your hand, do not ignore it. Armrestling is fraught with dangerous injuries, such as rupture of ligaments. Train carefully, distributing the load - and do not forget about the warm-up before the basic exercises.
