How to knit a circle?

When knitting napkins, caps, rugs ordecorative elements there is a need to connect a flat circle. This can be done both with the help of a hook, and with the help of spokes. The knitting of a circle is based on the same principle - the uniform addition of loops in each subsequent circle.

Before crocheting in a circle, you should dial 3 air loops and connect them to a circle.

Then proceed as follows:

• 1st row: Tie two pillars together without a crochet from each air loop. In total, 6 columns will be obtained.
• 2nd row: Run one air lifting loop. In the next loop of the base, tie two bars without a crochet. Repeat the same to the end of the series. As a result, the row will have 12 posts. We close the row by inserting the hook not into the lifting loop, but into the first column without the crochet.
• 3rd row: Each new series begins with an air lifting loop. In this row, you also need to add 6 additional loops. To do this, two columns without a crochet are loosened from each second loop. Thus, in the next loop of the base we knit 2 bars, then one column, so alternate to the end of the row. In total, there will be 18 posts. We close the series as described above.
• 4th row: 1 air lift loop. In order to evenly add 6 columns, it is necessary to tie loops of 2 sts from each third of the stitch without a crochet. In the next loop of the base we knit 2 sticks, then in 2 loops one column, alternating in this way to the end of the row. We close the series. It turns out 24 columns in a row.
• The fifth and subsequent rows are knitted by analogy,increasing in each row by one the distance between the loops, from which two columns are tied. The number of columns in each next row increases by 6.

Knit a circle can be with the help of columns with nakidami. The more nakidov, the more friable and soft canvas is obtained and the circle expands faster. In this case, to prevent the canvas from getting convex, it is necessary to increase the number of additional posts in each row.

The number of loops that we add in each new circle, if we knit with bars:

• with one cover - 12
• with two outfits - 16
• with three covers - 20

Circle with needles

You can tie a circle not only with a crochet, but also with knitting needles. It is more convenient to do this by using 5 identical pointed spokes on the ends. The technique of knitting with five spokes is described in the article How to Knit Mittens.

Before knitting with 5 spokes in a circle, you need to dial 8 loops and connect them to a circle, distributing 2 loops per each spoke.

• In the first row, you need to add 8 loops, that is, make a crochet after each loop. The number of loops will increase to 16.
• The second row is knit without crochet.
• In the third row, add 8 loops again. For this, the cap is made every 2 loops.

Then one row without a cape. In the next add 8 loops.
