Harry Potter - the famous series of books by the Britishwriter Joan Rowling, as well as full-length films based on these books. The books caused a huge stir all over the world. The book was translated into 74 languages, and their sales exceeded 500 million copies. To date, Rowling is the first billionaire writer who earned a fortune writing books.

How many parts of Harry Potter

Harry Potter consists of seven books, which are listed below:

  • The first book is Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, which was published on June 30, 1997
  • The second book was written a year later, on July 2, 1998, under the title: Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.
  • What's next? The third book continues to tell us about the exploits of Harry and introduces us to his godfather, imprisoned in Azkaban. The book is called Harry Potter and the prisoner of Azkaban. It was published on December 14, 2001.
  • The fourth book tells us about the greata contest held between the various schools of magic. The fourth part of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire are called, the beginning of sales which started on April 3, 2002 (in Russia).
  • Fifth book Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix come out after the advent of two years. The beginning of sales in Russia on February 7, 2004
  • Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. This book is the sixth of a series of novels about Harry. Harry finds a textbook of a certain half-blood prince, who belonged to Professor Snape. The beginning of sales in Russia on December 3, 2005.
  • The final, the seventh book, by the way,quite popular, is Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. This book tells about the final fight between Harry and Volan de Mort. The sales start on July 21, 2007.
