How to play the erudite?

In the board game erudite can play from two people. The winner is the one who will gain the most points. Words are composed of letters vertically or horizontally.

At the beginning of the game the chips are mixed. Each participant receives 7 chips with letters. The players themselves decide who will be the first to go. The first word on the field should hit the cage in the center of the field, it is marked with a special color.

In one move a participant can make up a word from the chips on his hands. If there are no moves, then the player can change chips from the hand, and then skips the turn.

After the player has composed a word,points are counted. The sum of points is made up of points on each letter, as well as bonuses, for placing words on certain cells. Points of letters placed on a green cage are doubled, and on a yellow cage they are tripled. It is most advantageous to place words on these cells.

There are bonuses for words on the game board. If the word passes through the blue cage, then the sum of the points of the ALL word will be doubled. If the player's word passes through the red cell, then the amount of points per word is tripled.

The game has a universal counter. It is marked with *. This chip can be used as any letter, at the request of the player.
