The player to some extent can choose the storyline: kill or not kill an ally, fight with him or make an alliance. With regard to freedom of choice, RPG is the closest thing to reality. The most successful implementation in terms of freedom of choice is the game Fallout, and the most famous game in the genre of RPG, perhaps, can be called World of Warcraft (WOW).

Live action RPG

In this case, players themselves dress up in costumes and win back the characters in accordance with the rules of the game. Such games are also called role modeling. They can be based on books, films or computer games.
