For this you need to match severalpoints. Firstly, you are required to fairly good health at the moment and no serious injuries in the past in order to get a sufficiently serious medical commission.
Secondly, you need to go through special training.
Places for training pilots
- aeroclub (if you operate a private aircraft, while you will not have the opportunity to officially get a job in aviation);
- school;
- institute (or military academy)
For example, you can go to study in:
- University of Civil Aviation in St. Petersburg;
- Ulyanovsk Higher Aviation School of Civil Aviation;
- Moscow State Technical University of Civil Aviation.
Pilot training includes 2 blocks: theoretical and practical. For each block, it is necessary to undergo rather severe tests in the form of passing exams. After that it will be possible to obtain a pilot's license (this may be an amateur pilot's license, a commercial pilot's license, that is, admitted to work in civil aviation, or a license of a line pilot that gives the right to be the commander of an aircraft's crew). To work on international flights, you also need to get additional education in special courses, and if you want to work abroad, sometimes you need to study in a foreign airline.
